West Indies 443 runs/6 wickets (f/o) (139.0 overs) - 2nd Innings
West Indies lead by 47 runs with 4 wickets remaining
3rd Day for the West Indians was a horror dream for them where they were bowled out and were enforced to follow on. Today The West Indians were to put down the great lead and more over they had to score as well, in order to keep themselves at least alive in the match even if they had to draw it, they still had to produce an excellent knock from someone.
4th Day started for the West Indians pretty decently but however they they lost an early wicket of Marlon Samuels 23 runs.He was undone by Tim Southee. Now all eyes looked towards on Shivnarine Chanderpaul who played pretty well in the previous innings but soon after every body was shocked as he received a ball straight on his legs and right in front of the wickets. "lbw" was the sentence that he was pronounced to and all this credit goes to Neil Wagner who bowled a quality spin delivery.

Still Darren Bravo had some other ideas along with Narsingh Deonarine who scored 52 runs but soon went back because of  Corey Anderson. In the meanwhile Darren Bravo played an excellent knock of 210* runs including 30 fours. His dropped catch by Neil Wegner cost the home side too much, Some help was also provided by Dinesh Ramdin but neither could his 24 runs into something substantial. There stepped in the the skipper Darren Sammy and straight forward he decided to allow Darren Bravo to take the leading attack and made sure that no more wickets fell down as it was the most important of all if they had to remain alive in the match and he did that efficiently. He currently stands on the pitch for his 44 runs including 5 fours and 2 sixes. Now the trail ended up and West Indies have stepped into the lead as they are 47 runs ahead of the Kiwis.Tim Southee, Trent Boult, Neil Wagner and Corey Anderson received wicket a-piece where as Ish Sodhi dismissed 2 of the batsmen.

This is how what it look like. At one stage New Zealand looked to take away the match easily but some strong performances especially the knock from Darren Brave has just took the Kiwi victory. Nevertheless the home side still has a whole day to restrict the visitors to the smallest possible total and chase away the target but the visitors will look forward to cash on the hard work that had been done by them and even a draw will work for them despite what looked to be a lost game for them. Can Bravo repeat his master's i.e. Lara's performance? The question will be answered by the man himself by tomorrow on the pitch....
