Pakistan vs. South Africa 1st T20I DUBAI 2013

The Protean dominance continues as the seamers continue to crush Pakistan's batting order. The nightmare still continues for the Pakistani batting order as they were again rattled by the South Africa pace attack.
1st T20I between the Pakistan and South Africa happened just yesterday.Pakistani fans hoped that with the revival of Abdur Razzaq and Shoaib Malik the team will perform drastically well under a different captain,Muhammad Hafeez and a format that had been mastered by the Asians but Faf du Plessis had a totally different plan with his seamers.
Pakistan was dissipated right from the start as they gave away 3 wickets for just 4 runs. Dale Steyn  again proved to be Trump Card of the Protean dug out taking 3 wickets including his regular prey Muhammad Hafeez. Some resistance was shown by Umer Akmal who scored 49 runs of just 41 balls bur he could not take his team even 100+. Pakistan could only manage a total of 98 runs in the limited 20 overs game.
The total was never enough for the in form South African batting but two dropped catches of Hashim Amla and Faf du Plessis just at the beginning of the Protean innings eradicated the Pakistani chance to take the match at competetive level. Hashim Amla was bowled out by Sohail Tanvir South Africa just cruised away in 14.3 overs winning the match by 9 wickets and 33 balls to spare. All batting done by Quinton de Kock who played like a man in form and  Faf du Plessis scoring 48 and 33 runs respectively.Man of the Match was again Dale Steyn for his 3 wickets giving away just 15 runs.
Pakistan have been demoted from 2nd rank to 3rd in the ICC T20I rankings but their 2nd match victory will take them again to their lost position but looking at the current batting conditions of the hosts it still looks to be a very tough task.Let's see the Pakistani can do the undone or the Protean bulldozer continues to demolish the Hosts. All the stuff is still left in the 2nd and final T20I in Dubai so remain tuned in right here.
